Exercise Journal

So I can’t quite figure out how to organize this. I’m just not sure what the best way to maintain and update this log is, BUT for now, I think we’ll go with a bullet-point list that I can just update daily. If I think the workouts are particularly special, I’ll post about them somewhere else (location to be determined. Ha.) For now, just the basics!

August 2012

  • Monday August 13th: 30 minutes on the treadmill (week 5, day 2 of Couch-to-5k!)
  • Tuesday August 14th: Rest Day (or at least that’s what I’m calling it…)
  • Wednesday August 15th: Cardio-Ab Circuit
  • Thursday August 16th: “1/200 Couch-to-5k Run“, 35 minutes on elliptical trainer
  • Friday August 17th: 30 minute treadmill run, medicine ball & dumbbell ab routine
  • Saturday August 18th: Arms & Legs
  • Sunday August 19th: Off
  • Monday August 20th: CRAZY intense 30 minutes of incline intervals on treadmill
  • Tuesday August 21st: 12 minutes treadmill, 12 minutes racing bike, dumbbell arm workout
  • Wednesday August 22nd: Double Circuit, 1 mile jog
  • Thursday August 23rd: Off
  • Friday August 24th: Jillian Michaels’ No More Trouble Zones (abs and arms circuits–30 minutes)
  • Saturday August 25th: FIRST TIME FINISHING FULL 5k DISTANCE! (3.5 on treadmill at incline)
  • Sunday August 26th: Off
  • Monday August 27th: Short ab circuit
  • Tuesday August 28th: Swimming and hiking
  • Wednesday August 29th: Off
  • Thursday August 30th: Short Jillian Circuit
  • Friday August 31st: 1.5 mile jog

September 2012

  • Saturday September 1st: 5k!!!
  • Sunday September 2nd: Off
  • Monday September 3rd: Ouch.
  • Tuesday September 4th: Jillian NMTZ
  • Wednesday September 5th: Jillian NMTZ + Arms
  • Thursday September 6th: Cardio Circuit + Arms
